Easy The Red Lionfish is easy to care for. Place this fish in a tank of at least 500 liter to make it at home. Keep your salinity within 1.021-1.025 (at 25°C) and temperature between 22-28°C. The Red Lionfish likes to eat crab, life food, shrimp and small fish.

This fish is reefsafe with caution. There is a risk involved in introducing it to your corals. Read about the experiences of other hobbyists and make up your own mind about taking that risk. Don't say we didn't warn you!

We consider the Red Lionfish to be a semi-aggressive fish. Be careful when introducing it to your less (or more) aggressive fish. It is, however, not a fish that will be the terror of your tank.
