Easy The Blackbar Triggerfish is easy to care for. You can't give it enough space, give it a 2000 liter tank to enjoy a healthy and happy fish. Keep your salinity within 1.021-1.025 (at 25°C) and temperature between 24-28°C. The Blackbar Triggerfish likes to eat artemia, big frozen food, clam meat, crab, krill, sea urchin and shrimp.

This fish is not reefsafe so, if you introduce the Blackbar Triggerfish to your precious corals, he might be quite thankful to that great welcoming feast you just brought him into.

We consider this fish to be aggressive. When you introduce a fish like this with less aggressive fish, it will try assert his dominance, which can result in disease and death among it's tankmates.
