This fish doesn't take pleasure in swimming in smaller aquariums, it needs at least 1250 liter to feel good. Keep your salinity within 1.02-1.025 (at 25°C) and temperature between 23-26°C. The Blackbelly Triggerfish likes to eat artemia, big frozen food, crab, flakes, mysis, sea urchin and shrimp.

This fish is not reefsafe so, if you introduce the Blackbelly Triggerfish to your precious corals, he might be quite thankful to that great welcoming feast you just brought him into.
