Moderate This fish is considered a moderately difficult one. Read well into how to care for this fish and which tank mates it needs, so you can take good care of it. This fish doesn't take pleasure in swimming in smaller aquariums, it needs at least 750 liter to feel good. Keep your salinity within 1.021-1.025 (at 25°C) and temperature between 24-28°C. The Barhead Spinefoot likes to eat artemia, big frozen food, flakes, krill, lettuce, mysis, nori and seaweed.

This fish is peaceful, which means it probably won't attack other fishes. Alas, a lot of peaceful fish do get easily harassed by other, bigger and more aggressive fish. Keep this in mind when mixing different types of fish. Having a lot of hiding places might help in the process.
